Great communication and honesty.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at PALS Auto was frustrating and expensive. I brought my car in for a check engine light. I was given the diagnosis and told it would be done by lunchtime — I waited until closing, only to find out my now non-starting car wouldn’t be ready until the next day, (it was only supposed to take 2.5hrs to fix) I was then told it needed a different part that was on backorder (4–6 weeks). I found the part myself in minutes with two phone calls. Communication was terrible, and when I decided to take my car elsewhere, I was charged over $2,000 — they even tried to charge me for the part they hadn’t even installed stating it was non refundable.I had to fight to get my non-working car back. I towed it to the dealership, who fixed the real issue in 10 minutes and sent me a video to prove it. I’m now out thousands for misdiagnosis, delays, and poor service. Avoid this place. Update: This business is now under new ownership, though the management remains the same. While I still stand by my original review and the experience I had, I want to note that the new owner has been pleasant, friendly, and easy to talk to about the issues I faced. She took the time to understand my concerns and made right the unnecessary out-of-pocket expenses I had. I genuinely appreciate her efforts and have hope that with her involvement, she can turn things around.

The shop was recommended and was pleased with the service. They replaced a faulty fuel pump.

Pals was recommended by their next door neighbor Advanced Auto Parts when my ride or die’s car started acting up the day beforehand. I took the car in for him after dropping himself off at work and they ran the diagnostic tool and fixed the issue within a reasonable amount of time considering their bay was full of other vehicles to be serviced. However it turned out they were purposefully causing damage to the vehicle so that we would come back in to get more work done. Stay away from this shop. It is a con.

The folks at Pals were great to work with! Our daughter had a trip and fall (clumsy like me, tripped over her own feet). It was no fault to anyone at all, just simply a kid being a kid, but yet they were supper attentive to her, bringing us ice packs, ice pops, band aids, etc. they were very worried about her, and that showed us the good type of people they truly were. they got our car right in, diagnosed and gave us an estimate and explained in detail everything that needed to be done. They had our car back to us the very next day, working great. I felt the price was very fair for the market, especially with the amount of work that needed to be done. Very stand up business, no BS, and gets the job done! Will be our new go to auto repair facility. You can’t go wrong with taking your vehicle here. Thanks again!!

A/c & spark plugs done. A little costly for just plugs... But I needed to get it done. However fantastic service, Ivan my tech. Chuck and his wife were very helpful and they're very knowledged @ what they're doing. We'll be returning!! First time There so I'm giving it a 4 as my experience grows with them more than likely I will change it to a 5 'cause the environment and the welcoming was great. Very courteous people... honest, That's hard to find everybody wants to rip everybody off nowadays. I appreciate honesty And communication. Recommended to go there to get your vehicle fixed they know what they're doing. To my surprise Chuck Handed me the history of the Maintenance of the car. That was very helpful I didn't know there was a way of doing that. Thanks chuck

I broke down in Ocala with my diesel truck. It was a Saturday afternoon. I tried a few places and I ended up Pals! I spoke to Chuck on the phone and he took the time to set me up with the wrecker and recommended a very nice hotel. Chuck went above and beyond to make Sure, I was well taken care of!
