Because my car is still under warranty, I go to dealer. But, I have been going to All Tune & Lube for oil changes, etc. and last time they did the scheduled maintenance and improved my mileage by 6mpg. This week I have been hearing some scraping noises and really needed someone to go for a drive and listen. I thought dealer would be too busy and not do this, so went to my friends at All Tune. They drove with me and immediately heard "the noise". They did a thorough diagnostic and determined it was power train, transmission or differential. On the computer they found something from Lincoln of this problem so they knew it was right. They can do warranty work and I would have left it but the dealer gives me a loaner and I have no backup car, so had to go to dealer for the loaner. They would take me home if it was just a couple hour job, but this is bigger than that. It will be at the dealer for about a week, I am told. The owners go to my church and I always try to support my church members. Very pleased with their service, ethics, honesty and taking the time necessary & explaining everything. I wanted to add that while I was there another lady was being helped. I was acknowledged but I said I would wait as it was complicated (trying to explain "a noise"). She was pretty young and it looked like she had a lot of repairs on her sheet. Her c.c. was denied, and the gentleman pulled her aside to "discuss what they could do." I thought that was great that he treated her with respect and cared, and not just turn her away.Highly recommend.
