Welcome to February! It's a month so chock full of observances and events that you'll want to check back in to remember them all! We had to cut out more than a third of them. There were just too many to mention this month!
We want to wish you and all the special people in your life a warm, affectionate St. Valentine's Day. We hope you are getting all the love you need in your life to succeed and thrive, and we most certainly want to make sure that every time you come to Pal's Ocala, you receive the kind of love, attention, and friendship you deserve as our valued customer, friend, and neighbor. There’s very few challenges we won’t accept at Pal’s Ocala, because it’s important to us to see your problems solved.

Not for children or the elderly or folks who are out of shape! This nature walk winds 4.2 miles through some wetlands at Silver Springs Forest State Park. Meet at 9 a.m. off CR. 315 entrance a mile off St. Rd. 40.

Come tour nature trails at Little Lake Weir! $10 / person.

February 5th, First Friday Art Walk
An outdoor, COVID-conscious art walk with 16 artist displays, buskers, free family art activities, and extended shopping hours. Live musical performances will be at the Downtown Square. Sanitation protocols will be in place at each art station, and each activity provided will be health and safety conscious.

The Duck Derby is a fundraising activity by the Rotary clubs of Marion County will race 5,000+ Rubber Ducks on Lake Tuscawilla in Midtown Ocala at 1 p.m.

Whew. I think that was our busiest month ever! Here's a reminder about Pals Ocala's essential partner: The Boys & Girls Clubs of Marion County. This program works hard to give Marion County's at-risk kids a chance to grow up safe from the violence and exploitation on the streets. They have our patronage, but they could use more caring support!
