Ocala's 4th Annual Oktoberfest
For those of you who love beer and brats, you’ll enjoy Ocala’s Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This event features live music, a beer garden, yummy German food, and fun for everyone. Located at Tuscawilla Park, the address is 829 NE Sanchez Avenue in Ocala.
Ocala Fall Horse Trials
Being that Ocala is the center of many horse-related sporting events, the Ocala Fall Horse Trials are top of mind for a lot of equestrians in October. Located at the Florida Agricultural Center and Horse Park, this event takes place October 12 - 13, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The address is 11008 South Highway 475 in Ocala.
Jeeptoberfest 2019
Sponsored by the Ocala Jeep Club of Florida, this is a fun event for people who love Jeeps and off-road driving. This event runs October 18 - 20 and you can check their schedule at https://www.ocalajeepclub.com/jeeptoberfest/. Spectators and participants will have a great time at this alcohol-free and pet-free Jeep-only event.
Marion County Halloween Run 2019
If you love to run, you don’t want to miss this 5K/10K run at the Paddock Mall on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 2:00 PM, but the races start at 4:00 PM. This event promises food trucks, live music, a costume contest, and more. Participants in the timed race have the chance to earn bling and points, too.
Halloween Night
This year, Halloween takes place on Thursday, October 31, 2019. Expect to see miniature ghouls, goblins, and Disney princesses running through your neighborhood. Please drive with extra care as we approach Halloween, as there are extra pedestrians who may or may not be paying attention to vehicles and traffic.
