Supply Chain Issues Have Hit Ocala.
On the off chance you haven’t heard, supply chain issues have been plaguing United States trade for months now. The supply chain is how we get in new parts, how restaurants get new food, and so on and so forth. Industries requiring metal parts and tool-and-die manufacturing (like the automotive industry) have encountered a sharp, sudden supply problem.
In a nutshell, the slowdown of the economy during the pandemic meant that goods we need now weren’t produced a year ago, and as America churns back to full speed, we’re short on the things we need to keep our machines running. It’s hit many industries hard, and it’s been especially hard on automotive repair.
What can PALS do about it?
The best we can do right now is to clearly communicate that there are waiting lists for certain parts, and to repair some parts that are hard to replace at the moment. Since we work on many trucks that are a part of Ocala’s supply chain, we want to do our best to keep your supply trucks and box trucks running.

In 1985, HITS moved to the ‘Horse Capital of the World’ – Ocala, and later purchased Post Time Farm in 2002 cultivating one of the world’s most horse-friendly show grounds. For four decades and counting, the HITS Ocala Winter Circuit has provided one of the largest show circuits in the country. Each year HITS Ocala is host to 12-weeks of USEF-Rated Hunter/Jumper competition from December through March, culminating with the Great American $1 Million Grand Prix during the final week!

2022 Santos Fat Tire Festival

The SANTOS FAT TIRE FESTIVAL is hosted annually each March by Ocala Mountain Bike Association in partnership with the Florida State Parks and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. The Festival features the EPIC 50 RIDE on Saturday, camping at the adjacent Santos Campground, a huge vendor village with bike booths & food trucks, and skills clinics. Proceeds from FTF benefit trail maintenance & building, safety patrol training, and equipment.

On the first Saturday in March, 2022, the Florida Horse Park will host a day of exhilarating thoroughbred racing action contested over fences for the first time. In addition to the races themselves, the steeplechase is a unique social outing with a timeless atmosphere and classic race day fashion on display. The steeplechase has something for everyone from a children's pony race to exclusive hospitality marquees to tailgating spaces from which you, your friends and family can set up a personal party base to watch the day's action.
